Two policemen have been found guilty of murdering another man last year. Tevita Malasebe was savagely beaten to death on either June 4 or 5, 2007; a victim of Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama's martial law and clean up coup.

The trial of the accused policemen in the Fiji High Court was preceded over by Justice Nazhat Shameem, an enthusiastic coup supporter and co-author of the putsch that removed Chief Justice Daniel Fataki from the bench.

These are the key rulings in the case.

* Summing up

* Judgment
